Developing Relationships Using Music: Beliefs, Emotions, Attitudes and Thoughts.
Originally developed by Holyoake Alcohol and other Drugs service in Western Australia, DRUMBEAT is a therapeutic program that uses hand drumming to help participants explore and improve their social and emotional skills. The program aims to build resilience, reduce stress, and foster positive behavioural changes through musical interaction and group activities.
This group program is great for kids, adults and even mixes of both! If participants have a mental health care plan from a GP, or their school or organisation can fund $45 per person for each session, this group can be available free of charge for participants.
