FAQs

1.What will therapy be like?

Therapy is a conversation that follows your concerns and the changes you want to make in your life. It doesn’t always feel easy, but it does mean you’ve got someone beside you as you do the hard yards of recovery and change. Along the way, the therapist will offer some tools you might like to try, and some techniques in the session that help resolve and shift the feelings, thoughts and behaviours that have become stuck and unhelpful for you.

2. How long will it go for?

Depending on the pathway that fits you, we can meet together between at least 10 times a year if we need to. But it goes for as long as you are wanting to make changes in your life.

3.Will it cost me anything?

Only your time and effort. All the pathways available keep the cost free or minimal for you. I believe all people should be able to use services to look after their mental health, and not be disadvantaged by cost.
