HomeCountry Journal

Colonial ‘explorers’ documented their journeys in Australia’s ‘wild places’ in journals and through collected objects, language and concepts. But this country was never ‘wild’ to those who called it home: it was curated and respected and nurtured by those who documented its ways in songs to travel by, stories drawn with leaves in the sand, generation after generation of relationships to each aspect of sky, land and sea. HomeCountry’s ‘Blog’ page is a collation of discoveries, reflections, learnings and ‘bits and pieces’ picked up mindfully on the therapeutic journey in nature. If you love footnotes like I do, check out the Resources to dive deeper.

Enjoy!
